Vintage, 1970s teal sapphire & diamond cluster ring
Provenance Original to 1976 this large cluster ring is set to centre with a deep teal coloured sapphire, claw-set in an open-back setting and surrounded by a halo of diamonds which is broken up by two baguette-cut diamonds flanking the sapphire, set east-to-west. The gallery is intricately pierced which gives the overall ring a slightly more feminine touch when worn on the finger. My favourite thing about this ring is the two baguette-cut diamonds which I really feel make the piece, I absolutely love it when they are set sideways like this - it always look so flattering! Set in 18ct white gold, the spread of stones and proportions of this ring offer broad coverage whilst remaining perfectly comfortable and practical to wear.
