4.5" Semi-Rigid River Fin

On a river, you will hit rocks. When your fin catches one, there are two bad outcomes: the fin and box take the impact and your board is damaged, or the board stops dead and throws you forward off the nose. Paddlers call that second one supermanning. Neither outcome is one you want. This fin is short, flexible, and raked to handle both. The semi-rigid material bends on impact rather than catching. The raked shape deflects off rocks instead of hooking them. At 4.5 inches, it sits shallow enough to keep moving through the rocky shallows where most river SUP happens.
