Flip Down Pommel

As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, user-focused innovation and new range of Adaptive Accessories, we are excited to introduce the new Flip Down Pommels for the MultiAdjust & SmartSeatPro II in both Small and Medium sizes. The Flip Down Pommel is easily released downwards by pulling the quick release plunger underneath the pommel head, promoting independence and self-transfers. Once flipped down, the pommel is simple to click back into position, by just pushing back into place, with no need to use the plunger pin again. The design of the Pommel has been improved for maximum comfort and stability for the lower limbs, preventing abduction by supporting the lower part of the thigh, the inner knee and upper part of the lower leg. A hybrid foam combination of high-density Reflex and Core Foam provides ultimate comfort, strength and rigidity. Both MultiAdjust and SmartSeatPro II versions have the twist feature to further support individuals with complex seating requirements, allowing the head of the Pommel to rotate to suit leg angle while not compromising the Flip Down functionality. The Pommel Receiver design is unchanged from the standard version, to ensure that retrofitting is a simple process. Each component has been carefully engineered for strength and accuracy, with extensive cycle testing and stringent quality checks carried out to ensure dependable long-term performance in demanding clinical settings.
