People often begin their knitting journey with smaller accessories, and the same was true for Sari Nordlund, a Finnish knitwear designer. Accessories form the foundation of our wardrobes and are an easy way to personalize an outfit and make it fit different moods. Now Sari has designed 20 timeless yet contemporary accessories for her new book, Foundations: 20 Knitted Accessories, which is now available for you to preorder. The unisex knits include hats, shawls, mittens and socks, among others, and are shown in different yarns and colours to inspire the knitter. Architecture was Sari’s inspiration for this collection and it shows in the clean lines and little details throughout the designs. 210 pages 20 patterns: 5 hats, 4 pair of socks, 2 collars, 2 shawls, 2 scarves, 2 pairs of mittens, 1 pair of mitts,1 hood and 1 cowl.
