Silver mezuzah screws are an extra-strong mounting option for mezuzah cases that are designed with screw holes. The threaded grooves help create a firmer hold than smooth nails, making these screws especially useful for heavier cases, exterior doorways, and installations where long-term stability matters. The silver finish works well with pewter, silver metal, acrylic, gray, white, and many neutral mezuzah covers. These mezuzah screws are practical when the case needs more holding strength than elegant nails or self-stick tape. For cases that are better suited to adhesive mounting, mezuzah mounting tape may be a better fit. For heavier screw-mounted cases, these silver screws provide the firmer grip that many stone, metal, and decorative cases need. Silver Mezuzah Threaded Screws Details Package: Set of 2 screws Product Type: Extra-strong mezuzah mounting screws Material: Metal Color: Silver Size: 1-1/4" long / approximately 3.2 cm Use: Mounting mezuzah cases with screw holes Best For: Silver, pewter, acrylic, marble, stone, metal, and heavier decorative mezuzah cases Strength Detail: Threaded grooves help create a firmer hold for secure doorway installation Installation: Use with mezuzah cases that have proper screw holes Doorway Use: Suitable for indoor doorways and exterior doorways, especially for heavier cases or installations that need a stronger hold How to Use these Silver Mezuzah Screws Confirm that your mezuzah case has screw holes that fit the included screws. Insert the kosher mezuzah scroll (קְלָף מְזוּזָה, parchment scroll) into the case before final mounting, if the case loads from the back. Seal the back of the case using the backing that comes with your mezuzah, or use suitable double-sided mezuzah tape when appropriate. Hold the mezuzah case on the right side of the doorway as you enter the room or home, following proper mezuzah placement according to halacha (הֲלָכָה, Jewish law). Position the case slightly slanted when following common Ashkenazi custom, or follow your family minhag (מִנְהָג, custom) for placement. If needed, create small pilot holes that are appropriate for the doorpost material. Install the top screw first, align the case, then fasten the bottom screw. Check that the mezuzah case is secure, firm, and not loose or swinging. A firm mount matters because the case protects the kosher mezuzah scroll inside. The case is the cover, but the Mezuzah klaf (קְלָף, parchment) is what makes the mezuzah part of the mitzvah (מִצְוָה, commandment). Before final placement, use our guide on Mezuzah placement to review the right side of the doorway, height, and placement angle. If a blessing is required, the mezuzah blessing explains the bracha (בְּרָכָה, blessing) said when affixing a mezuzah. Silver screws pair well with many pewter mezuzah cases, metal covers, stone cases, and neutral mezuzot made for screw mounting.
