Gently tap the filter to remove any dirt or debris. Step 3. Pour the BMC Detergent over the entire surface of the filter. Let sit 20 minutes. Step 4. Rinse the filter with cold water. Let the filter dry naturally. Step 5. Using the liquid oil, cover the surface of the filter.
