Kenya Mbandi
Tasting Notes: Delicate and fruity, with notes of blackberry, cola and clove We're excited to introduce a new washed-process light roast, Kenya Mbandi, grown by Thomas Masila Mutunga. This lot is entirely SL-28, a variety developed in Kenya to be more drought resistant. Among coffee lovers, SL-28 is prized for having a cola-like acidity. This coffee in particular is very traditionally Kenya, featuring double-washed heirloom beans. Kenya Mbandi will be in relatively short supply, so if you enjoy it, don't wait too long to re-purchase! We recommend this coffee for pour over, but it shines with whatever brew method you prefer.
