Banana Tree - Garden Sculpture

The Sunbeam Jackie ‘Flower Power’ series transforms Charlie and Katy’s fluid pencil and charcoal drawings into steel garden sculptures, whose fantastical forms, in the spirit of Italian artist Giacomo Balla’s ‘Futurist Flowers,’ are inspired by Cornwall’s subtropical climate, exotic plants, and other-worldly landscapes. The sculptures, made in mild steel and deliberately unfinished are designed to weather, evolve and rust. As the patina develops, the pieces blend into their surroundings and settle naturally into the landscape.
