Pedal Monster Torque Response Controller for Sprinter
We love the Sprinter, but if we had one complaint, it would be engine responsiveness. Once you've built out your van, added water tanks, gear, and larger tires, even the best adventure rig can start to feel a little sluggish. Now you can bring that responsive, eager-to-drive feeling back with the new Banks PedalMonster. If you've used a pedal controller before, you're already familiar with the basic concept. When you press the accelerator pedal in a modern Sprinter, you're not directly opening a throttle body. You're simply requesting more power from the vehicle's computer. By modifying that signal, the PedalMonster delivers a quicker, more responsive driving experience without making engine modifications that could impact your factory warranty. Most pedal controllers connect directly to the accelerator pedal. While cheap and simple, that approach can sometimes lead to low voltage issues, fault codes, and even limp mode. Nobody wants limp mode. The Banks PedalMonster takes a completely different approach. By utilizing the OBDII port, Banks is able to access a more robust source of power and vehicle data than traditional pedal mounted controllers. This allows for improved performance, enhanced reliability, and a smarter, more integrated driving experience. Compatible with 2008-2026 Sprinters 1500-3500 Gas & Diesel. Pairs well with the Renntech Tune to offer enhanced throttle modulation. How You Use It First, get on the highway and choose from one of 30 Master Torque Response Curves to achieve your desired mid-range punch. Then, return to stop-and-go traffic, and check out your off-the-line launch. Breaking tires loose? Dial it down with one of 5 Launch Trim levels.
