Hoof Paste Black - Barrier Dressing for Hoof Cavities & Wall Separation Hoof Paste Black is an easy-to-apply barrier dressing and packing paste designed for external use on equine hooves. Suitable for hoof cavities, wall openings, resected areas and external hoof defects, it assists in maintaining clean, dry hoof conditions as part of a regular hoof-care routine. Traditional Hoof-Care Ingredients: Hoof Paste Black contains potassium permanganate (commonly known as Condy’s crystals), an ingredient traditionally used in hoof and skin-care preparations. At the concentration used in this formulation, it is suitable for external application on horses’ hooves when used as directed.
