Balentìa Cannonau di Sardegna DOC Riserva 2019 Balentìa Riserva 2019 is a powerful yet refined expression of Sardinian Cannonau from the hills of Goceano. Deep ruby red with garnet reflections, the wine opens with intense aromas of ripe black cherry, wild berries, plum and Mediterranean herbs, layered with notes of black pepper, liquorice and sweet spice from French oak ageing. On the palate it is full-bodied and structured, with silky tannins, vibrant freshness and a long, savoury finish. Produced with spontaneous fermentation and bottled unfiltered, Balentìa Riserva captures the rugged elegance and authenticity of Sardinia’s inland terroir. A superb match for roasted lamb, game dishes, slow-cooked meats and mature cheeses.
