6/27, Fused Pebble Vase

Date: Saturday, June 27th: 9:30 - 12:30 Glass cutting experience is helpful, but not necessary! In this class, you will make a vase using frit and pebbles. The finished vase belies the ease of the construction. On a 9” piece of clear glass, you will use colored strips of glass for the border, then decorate with pebbles and frit and glue everything in place. We will then fire your project in the kiln to make it flat, and then again to slump it into the vase shape. Cost includes clear base glass, colored frit, pebbles, and 2 firings. You will need to purchase the colored glass for the border. Bring: Glass cutting tools, if you have them and glasses. No shorts or open-toed shoes. Teacher: Diane Novak
