【Jazz Future: Hum Quartet】 5 月 28 日晚，由中音色士風手 Hum 領軍，Hum Quartet 集合三位同樣活躍於香港爵士現場的新一代樂手，組成一支以傳統爵士語彙為核心、強調現場互動與合奏默契的四重奏。 Hum 近年活躍於本地爵士圈，曾參與香港青年爵士樂團及多個爵士培訓計劃，演出足跡遍及不同音樂場地與文化空間。他的演奏建立在 swing 與 bebop 等傳統語言之上。是次將與次中音色士風手 Brian Cheung、貝斯手 Evette Chiu 及鼓手 Tony Sze 聯手。四人背景各異，卻同樣對爵士傳統有紮實理解，並活躍於香港不同類型的音樂現場。 是次演出將在熟悉的爵士語彙中進行，讓聽眾近距離聽見一組正逐步在本地爵士現場站穩位置的新一代樂手。 On the evening of May 28, alto saxophonist Hum leads Hum Quartet, bringing together three fellow musicians who have been increasingly visible in Hong Kong’s jazz scene. Centered on traditional jazz language, the group places strong emphasis on live interaction and ensemble interplay. Active in the local jazz circuit in recent years, Hum has participated in the Hong Kong Youth Jazz Orchestra and various jazz training programs, performing across a wide range of music venues and cultural spaces. His playing is grounded in swing and bebop traditions. For this performance, he joins forces with tenor saxophonist Brian Cheung, bassist Evette Chiu, and drummer Tony Sze. While coming from different backgrounds, all four share a solid understanding of jazz tradition and remain active across diverse live music contexts in Hong Kong.
