After six months of samples, testing and refinement, Passerine has launched its own made-to-order jute collection! Often called the "golden fiber," jute is a sustainable, plant-based material renowned for its durability and soft, waxy sheen. Unlike other natural fibers that can feel scratchy, jute is surprisingly gentle underfoot, making it an excellent choice for bedrooms and living areas. Passerine's quilted jute rug offers a checkerboard-style pattern in 3-inch squares for a quirky, textured flooring option with a braided fringeless edge.. The checkerboard size remains scaled to 3-inches regardless of the size of the rug ordered. Standard sizes are provided for ease of ordering, but rugs can be made to any required specification. Estimated lead times are 6-8 weeks, but may be longer for larger rugs. If time-sensitive, inquire via email to receive a custom quote and timing for your order. Completed rugs ship directly from India to the buyer. Import fees, if owed, must be paid by the buyer to complete delivery.
