AZABACHE CHAPTER 2 Born from a year-long creative collaboration between PIGMENTARIUM and Paris-based Spanish fashion designer Arturo Obegero, AZABACHE CHAPTER 2 is the refined successor to the original — a fragrance conceived as the next chapter of the same story. Named after the Spanish word for obsidian, it retains the original's fundamentally romantic aura while pushing deeper into balsamic, meditative territory. Intentionally blending feminine and masculine olfactory notes, the composition opens with the freshness of geranium and pink pepper before transitioning into the opulent warmth of rose. The initial floral chords — evocative of lively society — gracefully give way to contemplative balsamic undertones of labdanum, olibanum, and myrrh, evoking a moment of solitude in a quiet church. Cedar and amber anchor the base with a full, enveloping warmth.
