The Man
This work depicts a young boy whose environment compels him to mature earlier than expected. Navigating the pressure of becoming “the man of the house,” he begins to understand responsibility through observation, modeling the figures he sees within his community. There is both weight and intention in his presence. Despite the ways he is perceived within a broader systemic framework, he strives to define himself on his own terms.
