Releases May 28! The Adirondacks BDR-X is a 700-mile adventure route looping Adirondack Park in northern New York State. Totaling 6 million acres, the Adirondack Park is the largest publicly protected area in the contiguous United States. Riders will experience a collection of beautiful twisting tarmac, lightly-maintained seasonal roads through pristine natural areas, as well as the occasional rocky, sandy, or muddy pathway. The majestic beauty of the tight forested canopy is abundant through the countless state and wild forests of the Adirondacks. Water is found throughout the route as it meanders through expansive valleys full of flowing rivers and stunning lakes. Designed with approximately 50% pavement, this route is approachable for most adventure riders and delivers the full BDR experience for new and seasoned riders alike. A BDR motorcycle map is an essential supplement to the free BDR GPS tracks when navigating BDR routes. This map contains the main route, detailed section descriptions, and information on points of interest, gas stops, seasonal weather, elevation profiles, and much more. Planning your adventure is half of the fun. Be sure to check out the Adirondacks BDR-X page on our website for tons of resources! Download GPS tracks for this route for free here. [Please note: BDR-X maps are approximately half the size of BDR maps, but fold to the same size. They are printed on the same waterproof, tear-resistant, and fade-resistant material.]
