Moonlight Session: Night-Blooming Florals (May 30)

Step into the atelier on the night of the May Flower Blue Moon and create a mini (3 ml) floral-amber perfume oil with narcotic night-blooming flowers. This 1.5-hour session starts with a short reading from Cheralyn Darcey’s Flowers of the Night Oracle. Then, we'll bury our noses in the night-blooming flowers of perfumery — sexy jasmine, heady gardenia and carnal tuberose — and explore their gothic allure. Because of the moon's connection to the tides, we'll also sniff real ocean-cured ambergris and uncover the secret of its coveted alchemical effect on a perfume. Finally, from a curated palette of 15 essences, create your nocturnal perfume oil with flowers, woods, tropical nuances and marine notes, and add it to a base of golden amber to take home and charge in the moonlight. 3 ml perfume oil in a mini rollerball To join the session, add to cart and check out to book your spot.
