In this workshop we will delve into the practice of shaping and editing poems. Each class will begin with a brief exercise in which we will cover topics such as punctuation as musical notation, line breaks, enjambment, etc. Then the bulk of class time will be devoted to reading and discussing the poems of the workshop participants.
