Flask of Paphiopedilum Lady Isabel x anitum with 1 plant to the flask. Two superior parents have been used in this crossing. With Paph. Lady Isabel having exceptionally wide and long, and Paph. anitum having exceptionally long blooms, you can certainly expect to see very large, hopefully black blooms. Can be deflasked between Spring and Autumn, they will however need to be protected over the following winter until they are of a size that will manage normal growing conditions. Paphiopedilum, found in the tropical forests of Southeast Asia reaching as far north as southern China, are commonly known as Slipper Orchids. Paphiopedilums are quite easy to cultivate and therefore popular among orchid enthusiasts.
