Antique 9ct Gold Amethyst Brooch Pendant

A beautiful, chunky antique 9ct gold brooch with a safety hook, allowing the piece to also be worn as a pendant. The brooch features a large faceted amethyst set into an ornate solid gold frame. The brooch is marked ‘NBs’ for Nathan Brothers of Birmingham, alongside a ‘9ct’ mark. The brooch dates to the late Edwardian period. The brooch is in good antique condition.
