Their identities play a large role in their work, as they often draw inspiration from the emotional experiences that came from growing up queer, autistic and homeschooled in the tiny rural towns of the Pacific Northwest. Their whimsical and cozy style combines elements of gouache, collage, colored pencil, and digital editing; a technique that they developed while pursuing their BFA in Illustration at The Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon.
