GRAF Platin Cesspool tanks are designed for below ground liquid storage and their Ultra Shallow design speeds up installation whilst reducing excavation costs. Platin tanks can be used for the storage of rainwater and non-potable water, as well as all kinds of waste, including raw sewage, sewage effluent, blue waste from chemical toilets, silage run-off, slurry and wastewater. Platin tanks are manufactured by injection compression moulding, which ensures a uniform wall thickness and tank stability. Platin tanks are manufactured from selected recycled polymer and are supplied fully assembled. Cesspools or cesspits (as they are sometimes known) do not have an outlet, so all waste needs to be pumped out and transported by tanker for disposal. For optimal environmental protection, it is recommended that all cesspools be equipped with a high-level alarm to alert that the tank must be emptied before it overflows.
