Carpenter's Square Quilt

Well made version of a Carpenter's Square quilt, one of the most architectural of quilt designs. This example is particularly desirable in that it is entirely indigo and white which is by far the most sought after color combination. It is well pieced and quilted with a combination of feathers; floral medallions and diagonal lines. Measurements are 85 inches square. Condition is excellent. The contemporary look of this pattern belies the fact that it was made some 150 years ago.
