Ai RTF1200 Series Top-Open Tube Furnaces The Ai RTF1200 series top-open tube furnaces feature the renowned Kanthal (Sweden) spiral wire coils embedded in Mitsubishi (Japan) high-quality grade 1500 alumina fiber insulation. A double-walled steel internal housing helps minimize heat loss to the exterior surface, ensuring efficient and reliable high-temperature operation. Temperature control Furnace operation is controlled by a Eurotherm (UK) multi-segment digital controller, allowing the user to connect to a PC for remote control and monitoring. Two controller options are available to suit different process requirements: Eurotherm 3204: 8 segments (ramping and dwelling) Eurotherm 3504: 50 segments (ramping and dwelling) Features Top-open furnace chamber for fast and easy tube access. Standard package includes a set of stainless steel vacuum sealing flanges with valves and pressure meter. Eurotherm microprocessor-based self-tuning PID controller provides optimum thermal process with minimal overshoot. Built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters for easy monitoring and troubleshooting. Built-in computer interface for remote control and data monitoring. Safety Overheat protection shuts down the furnace if the temperature is outside of the acceptable range or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions. Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished. Limit switch turns off the furnace once the top is open. Warning: NEVER fill the furnace with explosive gases, including Hydrogen, Carbon Monoxide and Methane.
