Vintage French Painted Display Cabinet Armoire with Wire Mesh

A tall French painted display cabinet (armoire) finished in off‑white with a single chicken‑wire glazed door and several fixed shelves for storage or display. The piece has decorative mouldings and stands on turned feet; the painted finish is worn in places which suits a country or shabby‑chic interior. It is being sold as a project piece and will benefit from some attention to the door and surface finish. Dimensions Width: 105cm Depth: 46cm Height: 216cm Condition Structurally the carcass is sound but the cabinet is a project piece. The painted surface is rough with flaking, scratching and staining in several areas and there is some veneer lifting. The door does not align correctly and does not close properly without adjustment. A hole has been cut in the back board and a small piece of trim is missing from the bottom left edge by the drawer; there is also paint loss and scuffs to the base.
