Asprey Grand Tour Globe
The Asprey Grand Tour Globe is hand-crafted in collaboration with Leonardo Frigo, an East London-based artist celebrated for his entirely handmade terrestrial globes, made using techniques drawn from a 17th-century Venetian manual he personally translated. Each globe begins as a hand-shaped plaster sphere, onto which hand-printed maps are carefully applied before the whole piece is hand-painted using pigments and varnishes mixed to the original 1693 recipe. The base pairs a hallmarked sterling silver trim, complete with compass points and a sodalite mosaic depicting lines of latitude and longitude, hand-cut by a specialist stone artisan in Florence. The globe turns on a bespoke mechanism set upon a platform finished in soft navy lambskin suede. Unveiled during London Craft Week in May 2026, this limited-edition piece is a true expression of the modern Grand Tour- uniting heritage craft with a contemporary vision of luxury. Discover the process behind our exclusive collaboration with Leonardo Frigo in Asprey Tales Around The World with Asprey, featured in Asprey Tales. Each limited edition piece is individually handcrafted, bringing together heritage craftsmanship and contemporary design.
