Original Blaxploitation Movie Poster - Gordon’s War (1973)

An original U.S. one-sheet poster for Gordon’s War (1973), one of the defining independent action films of the Blaxploitation era, starring Paul Winfield. Sourced from the personal archive of DJ Amir, the poster carries exceptional provenance. Acquired in the early 1990s from a Black-owned VHS rental store in Boston, Massachusetts, it originally came from a former employee of an independent Los Angeles cinema, who preserved the posters from display after each film’s theatrical run during the 1970s. Unlike the vast majority of examples available today, this is an original theatrical release poster, not a later reproduction. Having remained carefully stored in Amir’s collection for more than three decades, it survives in remarkably well-preserved condition.
