DER REST “Die Unbekannten” 28.00 EUR / 120zł (Lion Crew+Black Cat+Elbtal+…) The compilation *Die Unbekannten* features the remaining songs from the recording session for the *Panem et Circensis* LP, as well as two live recordings. The LP comes in a gatefold sleeve and includes a 56-page full-color booklet in LP format, which history of the Weimar punk scene from 1984 to 1990 is recounted in detail, thus continuing the story from the booklet of the MADMANS/ERNST F.ALL split. Peppered with comments and interview excerpts from numerous protagonists of the time, illustrated with many previously unpublished, restored photos from private archives, and background information on the Stasi files on the Weimar scene. Added to this are extras such as a live discography of DER REST + the bands of its members, and liner notes written by some band members for all printed lyrics. Hand-numbered and limited to 300 copies, including a download code. All recordings on the record have been meticulously mastered and restored.
