Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Supersport Targa

COMING BACK INTO STOCK SOON This is a rare car. It is a 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Supersport Targa, which means it is a Carrera 3.2 with the 911 Turbo’s wide wheel arches, front and rear spoilers, updated suspension, four-piston brake calipers, and 16-inch Fuchs alloy wheels. It is essentially a Turbo without a Turbo engine. In fact, in the USA the model was known as the Turbo Look! The Supersport is also called the SSE, for Super Sport Equipment. It is believed that just 15 right-hand drive Supersport Targas were produced, so this is a very rare Porsche, indeed. This stunning Guards Red example is the epitome of the 1980s and the naturally aspirated engine makes the car, arguably, easier to drive and less costly to maintain. The car’s gleaming bodywork was treated to a fully documented restoration and repaint in 2018, and the car has done less than 4000 miles since. At the same time, the gearbox was reconditioned, a new clutch was fitted and numerous other small jobs undertaken to bring the 911 up to a very high standard. The Porsche has a good service history and we shall service it before sale, so it’s all up to date for the new owner. The interior is black pinstripe, which is also in great condition and is original with the exception of an updated sound system and an alarm/immobiliser.
