I met with Johnysa Mathewsie when I visited recently. I am a huge fan of Johynsa. His art is extraordinary, His birds and Orcas fly off the shelves in our Gallery. Johnysa's details and lines are tight and crisp on his sculptures. This meticulous carving is ABSOLUTELY necessary when you are mixing white stone with a dark colour. eg neck and face of the Canada Goose and body and face of the Orcas.
