Indian art and English heritage Hand woven and block printed abaya. Finished with a vintage trim from Afghanistan and a vintage, English lace. Colour: Cream, orange and green Fabric: Body - 100% Indian cotton What we did: We have have specially hand selected all the components for this abaya. The front of the abaya is a handwoven Indian cotton khadi, the back is a handwoven Indian block print. These cloths have been created without any machinery, using ancient fabric making skills in India. The vintage textile on the cuff is sourced from Afghanistan. The crocheted English lace at the opening of the abaya is hand made and over 30 years old. Care: Dry-clean only. Medium iron or steam. Any imperfections are natural characteristics of the materials and not considered as faults, but the beauty of the artisans' craftsmanship. HANDMADE IN WADDESDON, ENGLAND
