Carved Elephant Djembe Drum 30cm

A djembe turned and carved from a single piece of wood, the shell stained a deep reddish-brown with an elephant motif cut into the base, the natural pale wood left exposed against the darker ground. The head is goatskin, laced with black cord. At 30cm it delivers a fuller bass than the smaller versions while staying light enough to carry under one arm. Made in Indonesia.
