Lagavulin 16 Year Old USA Exclusive

Aged in oak casks for at least sixteen years, this hugely popular and much sought-after single malt is both peaty and smoky, typical of a Southern Islay dram. The unique dryness turns it into a truly amazing rich and full-bodied whisky. The nose is immensely smoky and complex, with notes of iodine, seaweed and fruits. The palate is also smoky, but not overwhelming, it has hints of sweet, saltiness and oak. The finish is long and peaty, with dried fruits and seaweed. One of favourite single malts from Islay.
