Refined and rich in historical character, this 1965 Kalevala Koru brooch features four sculptural animal heads with long, winding tails interlaced in a Celtic-style knotwork design. Crafted in 916 silver, it bears Finnish hallmarks for Helsinki and 1965, alongside Kalevala Koru and Kaunis Koru maker’s marks. Kalevala Koru began making jewellery in Finland in 1937, drawing its earliest designs from ancient ornaments preserved in the National Museum of Finland.
