Copper earrings Ember

Some pieces of jewelry speak for themselves the moment you wear them. I designed these earrings for women who no longer apologize for taking up space – each piece is cut from a sheet of copper, hand-formed into a large crescent moon, and then hammered across the entire surface, blow by blow, until the metal holds the memory of every impact. For thousands of years, copper has been worn close to the skin by women who want to feel grounded in their own bodies, and those who return to me keep telling me the same thing: they no longer notice what they used to notice. These are among the last earrings I will make before I close my studio for good. I hope they will find ears ready to be seen.
