Constructed largely from stainless steel, it offers improved rigidity, wear resistance, and long-term durability in workshop environments. The modular beam system allows flexible adjustment of working radius. In its base configuration, the compass covers diameters from 3" to 24", while the included 12" extensions increase this range up to 72". Additional beam sections can be added using the threaded ends to extend capacity further where required. A refined micro-adjust system at the centre point allows fine adjustments of up to 1/4", enabling precise layout work with minimal backlash. The tool includes both a steel point for direct scribing and a pencil holder for general marking applications. A dedicated pencil tip system is also available separately, using 2mm HB leads for consistent, dark layout lines.
