Height in the Garden: Up to 45' Attributes: Broadleaf, deciduous, small tree that is fantastic in the landscape and for bonsai culture. Foliage is small and delicate. Twigs are slim and flexible. Bark is light, gray-brown. A wonderful species for bonsai not often seen in the U.S. Notes: Pretty foliage along with fine twigs and short internodes. This species has about the same level of vigor as Kornean hornbeam though much less common. Uses: Medium bonsai tree.
