Hand-Building Pottery camp! Discover the joy of hand-building with clay! In this camp, participants will create unique ceramic pieces using a variety of traditional techniques. Week 1 and 2– Hand-Building Activity • Learn the coil and pinch pot techniques to create your own handmade pottery. This fun, creative process allows everyone to make a one-of-a-kind ceramic piece. What Happens Next? After your building session, we will: • Dry your piece • Bisque fire it Week 3: Glazing Activity Bring your pottery to life with color! • Learn three different glazing techniques. • Use pencils to sketch your design before decorating with colorful ceramic glazes and ceramic pigments. • We’ll professionally glaze and fire your piece, then notify you when your masterpiece is ready for pickup.
