Description Hydrocotyle tripartita 'Mini Japan' is one of the most charming and versatile carpeting plants in the aquascaping hobby. Its delicate, clover-like leaves grow in a dense, compact mat that creates a lush, bright green carpet or can be trained to climb driftwood and hardscape in a wonderfully natural, creeping fashion. Its cheerful, rounded leaves and vigorous growth make it a favourite for both foreground carpets and mid-level accent planting. Under medium to high lighting with CO₂, it will carpet quickly and densely. Without CO₂ it will still grow well but more slowly. It can also be allowed to climb driftwood and rocks for a beautiful, naturalistic effect. Trim regularly and replant cuttings to fill gaps and maintain a lush, even carpet. Basic care instructions: Do not remove lid or contamination will occur. Keep in a well-lit area. Storage temperature should not exceed 30°C. Each pot is 50mm in diameter and packed full of healthy plants.
