Private trackers announce new releases on IRC seconds before they appear on the site. autobrr sits in those channels, matches the announcements against filters you write once—resolution, group, size, whether you already have it—and hands what fits straight to rtorrent. It is the difference between refreshing a page and being first. Pure Go with an embedded database, so there is nothing to install underneath it.
