There are Champagne tastings, and then there are occasions like this. Join us in Wellington for a grand, seated tasting exploring the story of Moët & Chandon through six remarkable Champagnes — from the iconic Moët Impérial to the House’s new pinnacle, Collection Impériale Création No. 1. We begin with the Champagne that has defined the Moët style around the world, Moët Impérial, followed by Impérial Rosé. From there, we move into the House’s vintage story with Grand Vintage 2008 and 2016, alongside Grand Vintage Rosé 2016. The journey culminates with Collection Impériale Création No. 1 — an extraordinary multi-vintage assemblage created from seven vintages spanning more than a decade. Among them are wines from both 2008 and 2016, giving us the rare opportunity to taste two of the building blocks of the Collection before experiencing the finished creation. This is Moët on a grand scale: an exploration of blending, vintage, maturation and time, and of how more than two centuries of Champagne expertise have led to an entirely new expression from one of the world’s most famous Houses. Presented as an elaborate seated tasting and accompanied by food selected for the wines, the evening will unfold from Impérial through Grand Vintage and Rosé before arriving at the remarkable Collection Impériale Création No. 1.
