3d printed model. LCVP Landing Craft Vehicle Personnel Higgins Boat was a plywood boat designed for assaulting beaches. It could carry 36 troops or a Jeep and a squad of 12 troops. More than 23,000 were built in World War Two. These boats participated in nearly every amphibious invasion conducted by the US Army or Marines in the Second World War. This model is 3D printed using filament, and will show striations which are normal for this technology. This is a model kit that is sold un-assembled and un-painted. The model can be constructed using regular model tools and model paints. Super glue gel and 5 minute epoxy glues work well on these types of kits.
