NMD Mez EXP V2 TP Bodyboard The NMD Mez EXP V2 TP combines ArcFlex™ core technology with a WiFly™ Bat Tail for speed, drive and responsive control across a wide range of conditions. The second release in the NMD Experimental Series, it was developed in collaboration with Kieran Adshead for riders seeking maximum projection and responsiveness. ArcFlex™ construction ArcFlex™ is the fifth evolution of NMD's PFS core construction. Twin recurve Divinycell™ beams create a pre-loaded flex pattern within the core. Under load, the curved beams store energy through controlled inward flex. As pressure is released, that energy transfers back through the board, delivering powerful recoil, increased projection and a fast, reactive feel. WiFly™ Bat Tail The WiFly™ Bat Tail combines the lift and acceleration of a bat tail with the hold and control of a performance crescent. Its wider planing platform helps maintain speed through flatter sections while working with ArcFlex™ to enhance recoil, drive and projection. Technical features Core: Kinetic Polypro, fusion-formed from premium 1.9 lb density polypropylene resins. This lightweight, 100% waterproof warm-water core offers instant recoil, projection, longitudinal stiffness and compression strength. High-pressure cell fusion provides its responsive feel; the Kinetic Core range is available in reinforcement configurations tuned to different wave conditions. PFS reinforcement: ArcFlex™ twin recurve Divinycell™ beams. Channels: AKU Parallel Channels. Stringer: Single CFT Stringer. Deck: Wavecushion 8 lb PE with Q12 backing. Slick: 1 mm DuPont Surlyn backed with 1.5 mm IXPE and 1.5 mm IXPP, for a total thickness of 4 mm. Tail: WiFly Bat Tail with ArcFlex™. React Mesh: Diamond-shaped mesh fused between the core and slick for enhanced stiffness and recoil. Template: Mez Template. Rails: 55/45 double rails.
