Antique French Copper Daubiere, Copper Pot

Superb antique French copper daubiere with long iron handles so it could be placed to the back of a range for long slow cooking. The pot is deep enough to hold the meat stock or sauce and vegetables. It would have originally have had a lid that would fit snug, ideal for use as a large wine cooler able to hold 5-6 bottles perfect for Christmas parties etc. Or great for herbs and plants in your kitchen. This is one of the best example we have had the copper has a lovely patina, and the long handles perfect for wrapping a cloth around set it apart. A true cut above other copper pans. We've filled this with bottles and fresh herbs, but would also be lovely being used as a table centre or being planted up with some house plants.
