White-tip Cushion Moss – Leucobryum javense
Leucobryum javense (Brid.) Mitt. (Leucobryaceae) forms soft, rounded cushions of pale, silvery-green shoots. The pale colour results from large, empty hyaline cells in the leaves that store water. Uncommon in Australian cultivation, it lends a mature, montane-forest character to terrariums and vivariums.Specifications Family: Leucobryaceae Rarity: Rare Light: Low–Medium (300–900 lux) Relative humidity: 80–95%; avoid waterlogging Suitable for: Terrarium, vivarium (not for submerged use) Portion: 50 ml container, as photographed All plants are sourced either from licensed nurseries or from ethically sustainable sources.
