Frank Sinatra - The First Times... - LP

Format: LP Label: Cameron, Collectors Series Catalog number: CLP-5001 Country: US Frank Sinatra’s The First Times... offers an intimate collection that highlights his gift for focused listening through an acoustic small ensemble setup. Tracks like "This Can't Be Love" and "Long Ago And Far Away" showcase Sinatra’s smooth phrasing and effortless charm, making this album a fine example of his more personal, less orchestrated work. If you appreciate vocalists who bring storytelling to the forefront, this one sits comfortably alongside contemporaries such as Ella Fitzgerald and Peggy Lee, even hinting at the warmth found in Judy Garland’s performances. The selection here avoids grand arrangements, favoring a cozy, close-knit sound that invites you to listen as if Sinatra were right there in the room. This pressing’s origins aren’t clearly documented, but the vinyl itself is in very good plus condition, presenting glossy surfaces with only minimal faint marks that won’t interrupt your listening. It’s a neat piece for collectors who favor Sinatra’s subtler sessions rather than his big-band moments. Track listing & samples Frank Sinatra - The First Times...
