Paula's My Girl

Unreleased seedling. Not Available Yet. Sweet and full of personality, Paula’s My Girl is one of my favorite seedlings and a future release I am especially excited to share. This petite dahlia measures approximately 4 inches across, with slightly wavy petals that frame the bloom and sweep neatly back in a beautifully polished form. When the flower first opens, bright yellow blends with deep pink but as it matures in a vase the yellow softens with the beautiful shades of dark pink, creating such a striking transformation that it can look like an entirely different dahlia. The name came naturally: when it first bloomed, I exclaimed, “My Girl is back!” Now, whenever I spot it in the dahlia garden, I still find myself saying, “There is my girl.” She looks like a little doll with hair so perfect that it looks like she just came from the beauty parlor. Lol.
