K80 / K220 HERMS Coil — ~21 m Stainless, 1.5" Tri-Clamp

One coil for the K80 and the K220. The removable HERMS coil from our K80 and K220 Hot Liquor Tanks, sold on its own: about 21 m of 304 stainless tube wound into a Ø340 mm coil, about 254 mm tall. It sits on the two lower front ports of the kettle body — 256 mm apart on the K80, 257 mm on the K220. Pump the mash liquor through it, and the hot liquor around it holds the mash on temperature — no direct heat on the grain. It connects through two 1.5" Tri-Clamp threaded adapters — order two HERMS coil fittings with it. What you need with it 2× HERMS Coil Fitting (1.5" Tri-Clamp threaded adapter) A pump to circulate the mash liquor — e.g. the MP-40RM pump Or take the K80 / K220 HERMS Upgrade Kit — the coil and both fittings together, for less. Yes — HERMS means pumping the mash liquor through the coil. A MP-40RM pump (as in our K80 systems) does the job. Does it come out for cleaning? Yes. Release the clamps and lift it out.
