Distilled in 2019 and matured for 7 years in an Oloroso sherry hogshead, this exceptional single cask expression combines rich sherry sweetness with the distinctive campfire smoke of Meikle Tòir, with just 347 bottles produced. Crafted under the guidance of renowned Master Distiller Billy Walker, Meikle Tòir showcases a bold, heavily peated style from The GlenAllachie Distillery. Matured in Oloroso sherry hogshead #11601, this release brings together the earthy warmth of mainland peat and the indulgent richness of Spanish sherry cask maturation, creating a beautifully layered and full-bodied whisky. The nose reveals enticing aromas of orange zest, dark chocolate and muscovado sugar, followed by baked orchard fruits, caramel and heather honey. On the palate, rich notes of cinnamon buttercream, honeycomb and roasted hazelnuts develop alongside spiced orange, maraschino cherries and salted caramel, all balanced by aromatic peat smoke and warming oak. Bottled in September 2026 at a natural cask strength of 63.9% ABV, this remarkable single malt is presented with no added colour and without chill filtration. With a peat level of 47 PPM and an extremely limited outturn of just 347 bottles, it offers impressive intensity, complexity and collector appeal.
